| Since it started its activity, AFTER is linked to data processing in sport events; particularly so in sailing, where it introduced the use of computer tools to manage sailing competitions since 1982. Since the 80 AFTER started sensing the necessity to invent a way of communicating through a graphic filter to be more legible and consequently more effective. The real strenght of the AFTER strategy in the computerized management of sport events can be found today in the presence of sport professionals in its staff who, thanks to their experience, are able to meet any specific request from the organizers. The tangible sign of the success obtained in this sector are three editions of the America's Cup, the last seven editions of the Admiral's Cup, and nine editions of the Sardinia Cup, besides hundreds of sailing events worldwide.
